National Cup Team Spotlight: Falcon Gaming - Adamson University

MLBB Collegiate teams from all around the country now gather as they compete to become the best! Who will come out on top and claim their Mythical Glory?

Falcon Gaming is the newest team to heed the call of mobile esports, being only recently formed through the initiative of Adamson University’s Mathematics Society. Initially recruited as part of their upcoming Sports Fest, the team went on to compete in the open qualifiers for AcadArena’s National Cup and is now one of the representatives for NCR vying for the chance to compete internationally and represent the Philippines in the global stage.

Despite being “new faces”, the team members reveal that they have been joining other MLBB tournaments before banding together, and have even competed against each other in amateur tournaments and in the open qualifier rounds for professional events.

While they may have had their differences before, the members cite that their newfound chemistry, focus on teamwork and having fun is their edge as they compete to represent Adamson University and the NCR Region in the Esports AcadArena National Cup MLBB Tournament.

“Even though we are not well trained, by staying focused and listening to each other, we can work as a team and have fun if we are losing.” says Charmaine “`Maine”  Bobadilla, Falcon Gaming’s Mage player.

Falcon Gaming’s members also follow their individual training regimen. Taking advantage of the fact that classes are yet to begin, the players focus not just on the grind but also in making sure that they are well versed with the current metagame of MLBB by watching professional play.

With only two teams advancing per group, Falcon Gaming hopes that their participation and perhaps possible win, would become the catalyst for Adamson University to finally recognize and support campus Esports.
