The battle to represent the country in the PVP Esports Campus Championships resumed with the fourth week of the AcadArena University Alliance Cup last Saturday. Here’s what you missed:
An important victory over the USC Warriors put the Malayan Warlocks in a prime position to secure a playoffs berth.
A win against the PLM Haribons sent the Valiant Archangels to second place in Group B, while the Golden Eagles picked up their first win of the season after taking down Oblation Esports.
A nationwide ISP issue late in the afternoon, however, affected players from most of the teams which prompted us to reschedule the remaining week 4 matches to Friday, November 13.

Golden Eagles, Teletigers to Face Off in Grand Final - AcadArena National Campus Open League of Legends Week 4 Recap
16 campus teams are in contention for local and international glory but only one gets to represent the Philippines in the International e-Culture Festival 2020 Korea next month.
That pool has now been reduced to two. Here’s what you missed from week 4 of the National Campus Open:
Teletigers and Valiant, a better love story than Twilight. You know what’s a better love story? Teletigers sweeping Valiant. You can count on the Alliance League runners-up to put up a good fight against the best collegiate team in the country but the outcome was always going to be the same.
The UC Jaguars were a force to be reckoned with in the group stages but they found themselves constantly chasing shadows throughout their semifinals series against the Golden Eagles who ran away with the 2-0 win. The old Golden Eagles can’t come to the phone right now, they’re busy whacking teams left and right. Will the Teletigers be next?

A Day of Ws for Gearhawks Blizzard and Warlocks - AcadArena National Campus Open Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Week 3 Recap
16 campus teams are in contention for local and international glory but only one gets to represent the Philippines in the PVP Esports Championship. Relive all the action from the second week of the National Campus Open for MLBB:
The Malayan Warlocks and TUP Gearhawks Blizzard both enjoyed two wins and no losses this weekend while the PLM Haribons and TSU Sea Slayers both settled with a 1-1 record.
Warrior’s Arena only picked up one win out of the three matches they played but will take solace in the fact that they weren’t the worst performers of the week.
It just wasn’t a good weekend to be a Valiant fan as a whole. The Archangels found themselves at receiving end of an aggregate 3-0 scoreline which now makes playoff qualification an uphill climb.
